Peanut, Oat & Chocolate Slices – Flapjack
These delicious peanut, oat & chocolate slices are great to start the day with. But be prepared, you most likely want them as well for tea in the afternoon or just in between to keep you going. If you are one of these people who love dipping their cookies in coffee, tea or plant milk, the peanut, oat & chocolate slices are definitely for you. I, personally, am not a cookie dipper and love them just the way they are on any occasion.
Besides the taste, I do love how easy they are done. All you need to do is mix the ingredients to a dough and spread the dough evenly on a baking tray. Bake it for only 15 minutes until the base is slightly goldish brown.
Wait for a few minutes before you spread the chocolate coating on top of it. Sprinkle some peanuts onto the chocolate and cut everything in slices.
Tadaaaa, your peanut, oat & chocolate slices are ready to be enjoyed! They are not too sweet and rather filling little treats so if you store them in a cookie box you can keep them for a while. In my case they never made it past a week 😆
